Convert clips for multicamera editing
on Jun 1, 2013 at 8:30:51 pm

If I have two clips with different size (ex. one is 720x560 and another 1280x720) multicamera editing is impossible.
Final Cut does not convert the clips.
Is there some way to convert them into the same size?

It's not only size...they have to be the same size, frame rate, and codec.

What format are the clips now? Where do they come from?

You can use Compressor to do the conversion.

The clips comes from two different cameras. Now they are 760x520 and 1280x720.

Leaving out vital information... what cameras? What format were they shot...P2, DV, XDCAM, HDV? What frame rate? How did you ingest them into the system?
