As of late, I've constantly been getting the same message every single time I try exporting. FCP quits even if I merely leave it open for a half a dozen minutes, more or less.
I believe i have a few missing files and also some corrupt files/projects/events (on "My Passport" 1 Gb, as well)...
Final Cut Pro 10.0.8 - mind you (I recently updated from 10.0.7 - or some such).
I've tried reinstalling, deleting my preferences, deleting FCP and instead installing the Trial Version.
So far, all my efforts have been in vain, with a constructive result equal to nil.
My MacBook Pro, in recent times, have been shutting down much too often, telling me to restart the computer, for an error occurred (that may just be caused by my external Hard drive, my passport for mac).
All of my software updates (including FCP) are up to date.
One more thing, I reinstalled my MacBook Pro the other day.
I know not what to do.
What say you?

You have my thanks (I am by no means an expert, rather mediocre, so please be not too cryptic).
