CS6 and FCP7 on the same hard drive???
on Apr 21, 2013 at 6:36:23 am

I tried to find an answer to this but couldn't. Can you put CS6 and FCS 3 on the same hard drive on the same partition without any problems, or is it recommended to keep them on seperate partitions? Also, what about AVID Media Composer? FYI, I'm using OSX 10.6.8.

Thanks,

Stefan

I have FCP 7, CS6 and Avid MC 6.5 all on the same hard drive on my laptop. No issues.

Same here. FCP7, CS6, Resolve, and Smoke all running from the same drive with no problems. I'm on 10.7.5.

Pretty much same again here.
I have FCP7, Avid Symphony 6.5, CS 5.5 and Resolve all living happily together. Had RCPX as well, although currently not installed, all played nice.
Thats on an i7 MBP

best wishes

I have them both on the same hard drive and it hasn't caused me any problems what so ever.

Thanks everyone!!! I'm downloading the software now. This will actually free up 400GB of space as I had 2 partitions of 200GB each for each suite.
