How to make "Transform: position" option work as intended
on Apr 18, 2013 at 6:01:49 pm

Hello!

I've tried guides, youtube, google; this forum is pretty much my last resort :)

I am unable to transform position of a frame, in order to animate it, so that it would move to the side of the screen. The red line never appears and the frame just changes it's position at all Keyframes at the same time.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

This forum should be your first resort. :)

Are you using 7 or X? What are you doing to keyframe the effect now? What is your step by step process?

I am using X.
Well, I was following this tutorial

And when it came to changing the position of the frame (Transform: position) - I could not get it to work.
So, I choose "Transform: scale", add a keyframe twice and then, while on the second keyframe, I scale the frame on the screen to make it smaller. This works fine. But then, I repeat that, choosing Transform: position instead of scale, and it doesn't move it for only this keyframe. Everything moves.

So, I can make the frame become smaller, but I cannot make it move to the side.

You are creating two position Keyframes, right? There's really not any reason for it to not work.
