23.976 jumpy playback

Hi everyone,
I am exporting an edit of some footage shot with Canon DSLRs at 24fps (23.976), edited in FCP and color corrected in Apple Color and I have a problem with the final export: it doesn't play back as smoothly as it does on the FCP preview. Here's a clip:

Although perhaps you wouldn't call it jumpy, I think it's not as smooth as it should be.

I think that I got all the settings correct:
- never changed the framerate during conversion from h264 to apple prores
- edited in a 23.98 timeline in FCP
- exported as apple prores 23.976fps and converted with mpeg streamclip still maintaining the 23.976 framerate

I am not sure what the issue might be. I thought it could be my computer but I've tried to play back the same file on another Macbook and I still encountered the same problem. If you guys have any tips I'll be immensely grateful.

Sorry, but I see nothing wrong, and I was watching on a phone where you'd expect to see playback in fits and starts.

Could it just be that the fairly low frame rate can't give you the smoothness of motion you may seek?

Well, I can see we have jumped all the way back in time to Tracy Chapman... but...

the 'jumpiness' you are seeing is a result of the frame jnterpolation that DSLR Long-GOP will push into your footage. FCP/COLOR especially does not play nice with Canon H264.
