***DISCLAIMER: I wasn't sure the best thread to post this in, as I didn't see one for editing suites, so I'm posting it here. Please let me know if this is not the appropriate forum.***
As I take part on the long and strenuous journey that is building an editing suite, I'd like to ask experts for advice on the perfect desk to meet my requirements. I'm a freelance Editor, working from my home. I've been doing some research into a few websites that build desks, and figuring out how I'd like my desk set up. I've checked with company sites like Anthro, Omnirax, and Ergo Depot.
My price range is $1,000-$2,500. I can go $3,000 if necessary, but only if the desk is a must-have. I'd like a width of 70", so it can fit my 27" iMac, my M-Audio BX5 D2 speakers, and an extra monitor (still doing research on which monitor, but that's besides the main issue).
And last but not least, I'd like it adjustable for sitting or standing editing. I know Anthro makes these, but are there better ones out there I'm missing? Is there a superb deal to get everything I'm looking for, or should I have it custom built?
