How to deal w/massive still image that I want to slowly zoom in on?
on Jan 17, 2013 at 12:21:48 am

I made a huge image in photoshop (20,000 x 20,000). When it's zoomed out you see one image with a pattern in the middle. As you slowly zoom in it starts to reveal more and more until the pattern in the middle becomes a large object (hopefully that makes sense). Anyways, it takes forever to import into final cut (sometimes causing it to pinwheel and/or crash. When I have gotten it in, and I can only zoom in to 400% and I would need to zoom in WAY further than this. How can I do this?? Please :))

Use Motion or After Effects for this. FCP will choke on anything bigger than 4000 pixels if you try to render anyway.
