I am using some Motion generators in a project. I know that you can't change the start frame for a motion template in Final Cut. The generator/effect/title always sets itself back to its first frame when cut. At least to my knowledge, unless I'm doing something wrong.
Yesterday however, I was able to edit a motion template added to the timeline using the blade tool and it was cut at the frame I cut it. It was late and I was sleepy, now I can't figure out how I did it. Maybe I'm just experiencing some bug or is there a way I haven't heard of yet?
