Subtitles hard coded (burned in) SRT to -> .MOV ?
on Oct 13, 2012 at 3:10:53 pm

Hello Everyone,

I have an issue. I am attempting to Hard code some titles into my mov files.

1. So far I have SRT files that are in sync using sub Factory... " HAVE THIS COVERED"

2. I can not get my SRT subtitles Hard coded to my mov files.

I have tried using "Submerge.app" but it does not hard code the subtitles it simply create a 3rd track.
Track 1 - Audio
Track 2 - Video
Track 3 - png titles

When i try to import that into FCP only get Video and audio Track.

I tried using. http://www.michaelcinquin.com/tools/subtitles/srt_to_fcp

And i can get my FCP timeline with my subtitles as Text generators.... but the problem is it runs off the screen..... image sample...

Not sure where I am going wrong or what i can do to fix. Id like to not spend any more money on this as ive already bought many subtitle software and each has different problem...

Thank you.....

FCP 7
