 | FCP Handling Stereo audio from Protools

Hi Guys,
I have been working on a short film, and have just received the final mix (as a Protools output) from the audio posthouse. They sent me two stereo files and a folder of 5.1 files. I currently just want to make a master copy of the film using the stereo version. I imported the two files (marked L & R) into the timeline. Do I just create a stereo pair? Or pan one left and one right? Or something else?
Sorry for the newbie question... :(
Cheers,
Farrokh

You pan Channel 1 to the left, channel 2 to the right. The timeline defaults to a stereo out...but you have to do the panning, otherwise it'll be mono.

Thank you Shane. :) That's what I had done, but someone had watched it and complained of volume issues. Turned out it was his TV.
Thanks again!
