Editing one project on two different computers.
on Oct 9, 2012 at 12:30:41 am

I am working on a project with another person and we are trying to set it up so that we can both be editing simultaneously. We've been doing this by setting up a main harddrive and a satellite harddrive and, when a timeline is completed on the satellite harddrive, putting a copy of the project file onto a flash drive and dropping it into the main harddrive. From there we copy+paste the timeline into the copy of the project on the main harddrive. This seems to be working but whenever we open the project file from the satellite harddrive on the main harddrive all of our media is disconnected and we need to reconnect it. I am wondering if there is a way we can go about it that we won't have to reconnect media every time. It would be preferable if there is a way that would allow us to continue doing things as we are but any alternatives would be welcome to. Thanks
