Will Motion 5 work with Final Cut Pro 6?

I've got the Motion that came with the Final Cut Studio. I think it's Studio version 7? The one that had FCP 6.

Just wanted to know if I upgrade Motion which is only $50, will it work okay with my version of FCP?

Thanks.

I don't know if you can round-trip, however, I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to create motion graphics in Motion, export them, and import them into FCP6.

Great.

I'm not on Lion yet. Do you think there's any problem with that?

It's funny, but the price is so cheap I also was wondering if it was a watered down version. Since the original came bundled with the Studio, I really didn't know what it would cost alone. But $50 is a steal.

Yup: don't count on simply importing the Motion project file, expecting it to work. As pointed out before me, you most certainly can render the shot(s) out of Motion and they should be fine.
