Hey all,

Is it possible to sub-clip a multi-camera clip in FCP7? If not, can you suggest a workaround?

Thanks so much!

Mark In & Out, Command+U (first item in the Modify menu)
This will Subclip all tracks. The subclipped sequence won't have the same timecode as your original sequence.

Neil.

Thanks Neil - that's good to know! Too bad about the timecode as I may need to conform back to the original 5K camera negative for color grading, and final output.

Best,
Dan

Just to be clear; the SOURCE timecode doesn't change, just the Sequence timecode of the new sequence...

And depending on what you're trying to achieve, you could Duplicate your sequence then delete everything out of it that you don't want, so that your Subclip stays in the same place (Kind of a manual Subclip, if you will.)

Cheers,
Neil.
