FCP --> MPEG2 or HQ MPEG4

So I'm preparing to deliver a documentary I just wrapped up to send to the DVD author. He wants either an MPEG2 with both audio/video files or a high enough quality MPEG4.

Settings are as follows:

Shot on Canon 60D
1920x1080 24fps
ProRes (LT)

Just wanted some advice on how to do either of these. I regularly use MPEG Streamclip so should I use that? I usually export a QT movie from FCP7 and then bring it into Streamclip but I know there are little tweaks here and there to make it look the best.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you!

I would export the timeline as a quicktime in the timeline settings (not transcoding to another codec at that point) then use Compressor with one of the DVD presets to make MPEG2 files from it.

Yeap.
If they are going to make a DVD, an intermediate MP4 don't makes much sense.
better the MOEG-2, with embed audio.
