Hi folks

I've got a sequence that when exported using QuickTime Conversion (see settings below after sequence setting) it loses it's quality. Looking washed out somewhat. The quality of the viewer in FCP is beautiful. I've been trying numbers export options but to no avail. I thought it was the gamma settings in QuickTime Pro which I checked and ticked the box for the gamma settings.

Right I've got a project in FCP with these sequence settings:

Frame size: 720x576
Pixel Aspect Ratio: PAL-CCIR 601 (720X576), Anamporphic 16:9 ticked.
Field Dominance: Lower (Even)
Editing Timebase: 25
Quicktime Video Settings: Compressor: DV-PAL
Quality: 100%
Audio
Rate: 48kHz
Depth: 16-bit
Config: Channel Grouped.

Based on these sequence settings can anyone advise a solution to this isse?

Thanking you in advance.

Paul

Don't export via QT CONVERSION. That recompresses the footage. Export via Quicktime EXPORT. Check the SELF CONTAINED option.
