I shot my film in Super 16mm and got it transfered to miniDV at 29.97fps.
I imported the .ale files give to me by the lab into Cinema Tools - created database - XML for FCP Batch List Capture - did everything, etc.
Reverse telecined for editing.
I realized that there are several clips in particular that captured only partially (it seems the timecode in the .ale file wasn't properly labeled) and there is one important clip that is missing completely; however, I can see the .ale file has missing twenty second timecode - approximate length of the clip.
I know the clip is there on the tape, but FCP won't capture it because it's not in the XML list because it wasn't originally in the .ale file. I'm guess it was an error on the lab's part.
I've already sunc most of my footage. Is there an easy way to simply log information for the missing clip (window burn + timecode) and batch capture it in FCP again?
I'm worried that I might have to batch recapture all clips if I export another - revised - XML?
