Compressor Failed With Large Clips
on Mar 7, 2012 at 1:34:24 pm

I have filmed an interview and left the camera running for the whole thing, the clip is about 10 min long. When i want to convert from .mov to apple prores through compressor and press submit, the job gets so far into compressing and then fails?

it has only happened to the long clips, as i have gone through the same process but with shorter clips 2-4 min long and they work perfectly.

I have tried setting the in and out point on the long clip so that it is shorter but it still fails?

help is needed urgently!!!!

Are you exporting from the timeline directly through Compressor?

If so, first export a self contained file, then use that file in Compressor.
