OMF similar functionality for video
on Feb 23, 2012 at 6:27:45 am

I am currently working on two huge projects. Both are features and together are about 3 TB in size.
I was wondering if there's a way to produce a trimmed version of the projects, much like OMF (keeping the original files with handle frames on both sides) where I can keep only the footages I used in the projects with little flexibility in order to make small changes and have it copied to a new location into a new project file.

Select the sequence in your Browser, and then select Media Manager from the file menu. Set up the dialog box to include: Copy, use current settings, add the handles you want click on create new project, click on delete unused media, and then select the location for the copies of the media files, after you click OK, there will be a dialog box to ask you what to call the new project file...
