Recording the "scrubbing" video as seen in the CANVAS window.

Hi All,
Is it possible to Record the moving image that occurs while "scrubbing" the Sequence? You can see the image in the CANVAS window,
but can you output it?

The image can be pretty compelling, but is that video signal output-able?
Shooting it off the monitor seems to be the only way to do this, but is there a third party board that can output it to a video deck, and at a decent quality?
Thanks for any Ideas or leads on this,
Carlton

Yes.

And yes, see, most of us have an ancillary board or breakout i/o box attached to our systems that feeds decks and monitors, so if you had that, you could set a deck free-recording and scrub like Skrillex to your heart's content.

SInce you lack the card or breakout box, you might try rolling a computer screen capture program like screenflow or snapz pro from Ambrosia. Or one of the freebie ones a google search brings up.

Screen flow is awesome at that!
