Hi there guys

What can be done except applying smoothcam to stabilize a shaky shot

Taking the shot into After Effects and using the smooth cam filter it employs.

The After Effects feature to which the Good Mr. Ross refers is called Warp Stabilizer. It's available ONLY in the latest version of AE.

It isn't very intuitive in its use: watch the training tutorials. And if it's very shaky footage, don't expect miracles.

I am applying smoothcam in fcp but it leaves a bubly kind of effect in the shot, except using smooth cam filter what else can be done to stablize the shot...


One thing more i want to know that i have kind of shots which contains lots of noise in it. i use noise reduction for it is there any other filter which can be used for reducing noise in the video
