Drive info
on Jan 27, 2012 at 6:48:49 pm

Looking to outfit a clients computers with some local drives. This is for a stand alone system that DOES NOT need to be networkable.

I have been using SAN's for awhile now so not sure about what out there. The GSPEED eS with esata card
here - http://www.g-technology.com/products/g-speed-es.cfm looks to be interesting.

I need about 8tb RAID, needs to be adaptable. and somewhat consolidated.

Are there better options out there.

thanks

jack

CalDigit HDOne is a good one. I have this.

MaxxDigital EVO series are great...I have used these too.

Note...due to disasters overseas, units are more expensive than normal due to hard drive prices being so high.

Thank Shane, I was hoping you would pipe in.

Yes I noticed this about prices. At one time Frys was limiting how many drives you could by.

thanks
