Copying and Applying Font Size Etc from one text clip to another

It's a real pain in the butt to create a bunch of text clips and have to select the same options over and over. Is there a way to copy the settings from one clip and paste them to another?

I tried doing this with alt+v but it doesn't seem to offer me the option.

Thanks for your time guys.

Copy or drag the text event/clip from the timeline or from the viewer to the browser, then place that clip in the timeline. Now, load it into the viewer and make adjustments to your text as necessary. It won't change the original, won't change the clip in the browser. Only the new clip you dropped in the timeline will have the new text, and all the parameters of the original will be in place in that clip, making everything match.

As David points out, it is easy to do when creating by creating a master text box and then changing the text. It is also possible but messy to batch change a whole lot of text attributes by manipulating and XML version of the project.

This old post gives some details -
