Transferring AVID 3D DNX 36 Files to Apple ProRes FINAL CUT LATEST VERSION

Has anyone transferred AVID 3D DNX36 files to Apple ProRes FINAL CUT (latest version)? Must to work in 3D. URGENTLY Seeking any information on this process and software requirements. Thanks ElleB

The term "the latest version" can cause great confusion among Final Cut Pro practitioners.

Do you mean Final Cut Pro 7, or do you mean Final Cut Pro X? FCPX is newer but lacks many of the pro editing features of FCP7.

FCP only does 3D via a plugin from Dashwood...or with the Cineform codec. While Avid does true 3D inside the app, not third party anything needed. I don't think you are going to be able to get a proper conversion this way.

But I don't know 3D...just a little about each app.
