So I have a wav file from Killer Tracks or some library archive. I convert that to AIFF 48hz 16 bit. I put that on my timeline edit away render and every thing is fine. But sometimes if I have to adjust my audio and lengthen it in the timeline, when I re-render, the in point of my audio is off. It only happens when I lengthen a clip, not shorten it. What gives?
The fix is just to re-edit my audio from the source back into my timeline. But that is such a hassle especially when keyframes, filters and such are involved.
sometimes audio renders go haywire in FCP, and render the wrong part of the file.
a fix is to delete your audi renders either manually, by trashing their folder,
or via the Render Manager Tool (Tools Menu)
still, you may have to render the audio again, and if it keeps happening to you maybe you should trash your preferences.
do you know that if you up your number of RT audio tracks in User Prefs, you wont need to render audio.
