Final Cut Filters - Bold and Not Bold?

I was going through my filters in Final Cut and had to ask myself, and now this forum...


Why is the text for some filters in the menu shown in a bold characters while others are not?

Bold means that it will play back in real time. Non bold you will need to render. Overall you will need to render.
