Problem bringing clips into timeline - sizing
on Oct 26, 2011 at 5:30:08 pm

I am working on a project right now where the footage I was working with was a few larger clips, divided these up into smaller clips by bringing the larger clips into the timeline, making them independent clips, and then dragging them into the bin and renaming them accordingly. Now, whenever I try to bring these clips into a timeline they appear as shrunken and slightly distorted. When I go to "remove attributes" I see that basic motion and distortion have been applied to the clip, and removing them makes it fit properly, but that means that every time I bring a clip into the timeline I have to keep removing the attributes. I've tried changing the sequence settings, and even copying the original timeline that they came from and bringing the clips back in, and no matte what they are shrunken. Does anyone know why this happened, and how I can fix it for all my clips so I don't have to keep on having to remove the attributes each time I bring a clip in?

Thanks in advance!
