Possible to export Apple ProRes Codecs without FCP?
on Oct 24, 2011 at 12:16:04 am

My client just asked me to deliver finals in Apple Pro Res 422 and ProRes 444. I'm working out of Nuke and After Effects. Is this possible?

Not really. You could buy the latest MOTION from the Apple store. But you have to have one of the FCS apps in order to encode ProRes.

Won't work without FCP or Motion installed. The ProRes codecs for ENCODING only come with FCS.
