I am having issues with a clip when I import it on Final Cut Pro 7, the video goes very fast while the audio is fine, after all video is played the clip keeps playing the audio but with a black screen.
This is a project that I was editing on Premiere CS3 and I moving to FCP7, so I exported the video as a Quicktime - Animation then with MPEG Streamclip I transcode it to Apple ProRess 422 (this is what I am using in FCP).
The video before and after transcoding plays ok with quicktime but I FCP as I said it just doesn't play good the video. By the way when I check the Apple ProRess it has a variable frame rate from 0.9 to 29.97.
FAST VIDEO, NORMAL AUDIO (but clip speed dialog box indicates 100% constant speed)
1) problem only has happened with converted 60D footage (to XDCam or AppleProRes)
2) problem seems to occur more frequently if clip is followed by an accelerated clip
3) once problem occurs, copying the edit to another sequence, quitting FCP or shutting down don't help!
3) clip sometimes plays normally if moved to another part of the timeline
