Mass Duration-editing of Still Images in Sequence

Hello,

I've got a number of images [S-quality JPG files captured on a 7D].

Bringing these images into the timeline, they default ato 10-seconds each in the Timeline. Note: I'm highlighting the group and dragging images directly from the Browser into the Timeline.

Highlighting the group, I control+click, scroll down to Duration, and attempt to edit them at once to a duration of 2-frames. Note: Sequence Preset is Prores 422 LT 1280x720 24p 48khz.

This is where I'm encountering problems:

FCP [Versopm 6.0.6] either affects the duration of only a handful of the still images, or not at all. It's acting very inconsistently. However, editing the duration on a handful of still images, 15 or less, say, it works fine. Thoughts? Feedback?

Been using FCP for almost a decade now but rarely bring in still images for purposes of creating stop-animation, which is the idea with this current project.

Thanks for the help,

Change the import duration of still images to 2 frames in your FCP preferences and reimport the images.
