Applying filter(s) to all instances of a given clip in a timeline edit?
on Sep 14, 2011 at 11:48:36 am

Okay, so, I'm editing a simple 2-camera shoot, but the white balance btw the two cameras was poorly aligned, so I'm having to adjust one to match the other. Thing is, the edit has already been done, so I'm wondering if there's an easy way to apply a filter to, say, a master clip, and have that change reflect in all instances of scenes from that clip used in the timeline.

OR am I stuck having to go through and drag the filter to each instance of the clip in the timeline?

Let's say the edit WASN'T done yet. What would be an ideal way to do this? Do you have to apply the filter and export the clip in it's entirety, and then use THAT to edit?

I'm also looking to get the same question answered. Any takers?
