2 diferent types of footage
on Aug 16, 2011 at 1:17:48 pm

Hi there,
I am editing a short film that was shot on both 16mm film(30%) and 1080i HD(about 70%). The final output is SD PAL DVD projected onto large screen. I am new to creating mixed media workflows. Can you please send me advice on how to handle the different types of footage as well as the best sequence settings for FCP 7?

Thank you

What codec is the 1080i?

What format did you transfer the 16mm to? HD?
