Hey, I am working on a music video shot multi cam, and I have shot selections on my timeline from the various cameras and takes, At any rate all of the shot selections are pretty much in sync.
My question is, can I use a program or something within FCP to automatically sync it. I don't wanna have to go thru each shot and manually fine tune them. I have used pluraleyes before but do not currently own, and that is the only thing I can think of that might come close.
Yeah I kept the native audio hoping that I could use it to help sync.
As for the clapper I had a countdown and a click track intro for the song, so I have been using that to sync, still I have roughly 10 different takes all with 3 cameras so keeping everything synced and trying to edit, while keeping things synced was very time consuming so I abandoned it part way thru the edit and just figured it would be less time to go thru it all at the end.
For anyone else with this issue I have come across some software from the makers of pluraleyes called presto. It allegedly will sync your various video clips to an audio track when making music videos, however it is for mac OS 10.6 and I am on 10.5.8 (bulllshiiiitttttt) So I haven't actually been able to try it, but if your Os is up to date you can dl a free 30 day trial online
