Exporting QT Mov - audio
on Jul 21, 2011 at 4:53:42 pm

We often do a multicam project to switch 3 cameras in post. Our original footage has host audio on channel 1 and guest on channel two.
After we do a multicam, we export a new quicktime which is imported into our final edit project.

When we export the quicktime, we get channel 1 & 2 mixed together (stereo) so we can no longer work each track independently.

How can we export from our original to the new QT and keep the audio as is?

Thanks

Larry

Pan the host left and pan the guest right. When you're done futzing with the audio, pan both to center.

Duh,

I've come from another editor that had pans on the entire track so I didn't think of the obvious. Thanks
