quicktime .mov files losing sync on import
on May 18, 2011 at 6:30:19 pm

Hi

I have several short (under 5min) clips that I ripped off of DVDs using DVDxDV. I created quicktimes which play just fine in Quicktime. And played fine when I created a new compilation DVD.

When I import them into FInal Cut pro they loose sync dramatically.

The time line is standard DV 720x480 29.97fps. The clips show up with all the same settings as the Sequence.

Final Cut Pro 6.06 Max OS X 10.5.8 2x3.2GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon 8GB ram.

Any ideas?

Yes, both the sequence and the clip are 48 khz, although the sequence is 32 bit.
