Due to time constraints I had to edit a 6 minute piece in a 25fps sequence in Final Cut. 75% of the show is 25fps and 25% is 23.98fps. I need to make a NTSC DVD for the client.
The 25fps material came in from XDcam. The info I have is to convert the exdcam files to Prores 422 and then using cinema tools convert it to 23.98fps. What I need is the simplest work flow here since the sequence is already edited and has mixed frame rates. Any suggestions?

I'm afraid that skipping the frame rate conversion step when you started cutting has now come back to haunt you. You now have to make the frame rates match, or you'll have a royal mess on your hands when you make the DVD....
...which incidentally can be made at a frame rate of 23.976. The DVD player can add the pulldown to make it 29.97.
