Green bar in HDV footage show in viewer

Hi Guys

This one has me stumped. I shot footage in 720 50p and captured into FCP with PRORES 422.

When I pull the file into MPEG streamclp and QuickTime it's all cool

When I putt it into FCP, I get a green bar on the right of the footage , while still showing in 16:9 but the greenbar forces the viewrer toshow it in 4x3

What gives

William

Did you make an edit timeline, drag in any 720 clip and let FCP change the timeline to match the footage?

It sounds as if someplace along the line, you converted it from 960x720 to 1280x720.

Will

Did you get this problem sorted? Im having the exact same problem. The only thing I can think of doing is a clean install, but dont want to go down that road.

Chris
