 | Using ProRes 4444, won't let me render using 10-bit YUV
on Apr 6, 2011 at 3:41:03 am |
Hey guys,
I'm using FCP and my footage is ProRes 4444. I'm trying to render, but it tells me it can't find a codec, but when I switch to "Render in 8-bit YUV", it works... but now I can't render in 10-bit.
I'm using a macbook Pro. 8 gigs of ram. Latest version of FCP.
What can I do?

Can you open one of your ProRes 4444 clips in QuickTime 7 and export to Uncompressed 10bit QT from there?

Where did the 4444 footage originate?
