Get rid of hallow/echo on I/V?
on Mar 9, 2011 at 6:18:13 pm

Got an interview recorded in a hallway - his voice is clear but hallow, bit of small echo at end of his words - would I send this to Sound Track Pro and then what? Best filter for this?

Thanks

EQ can help a bit. This issue has been discussed often here and detailed ideas for setting EQ have been spelt out often. Please do a search of this forum for echo, hollow or reverb .

I actually played around with STPro's Enveloper/room kill and it did OK

Thanks

Good to know, thanks Kent. De-convolution of reverb is still a dream concept but who knows when someone will crack that. A few years ago distortion was almost impossible to make a difference with but the new iZotope2 does an amazing job so I live in hope.
