File Export PART 2

OK, so basic question and I do know but I need to check with the pros here as paranoia is setting in that I may be wrong but...

If I need to export my sequence as uncompressed, full broadcast quality, what is the best export setting? The original footage is all HD 1920 x 1080.

Secondly, they have asked me to compress that to SD, so what would be the best export settings for that?

Sorry for the basic questions but like i said, I need to check to be 110% sure.

You've only given frame resolutions. You've said nothing about the codec you're working in or what codec "they" want for SD.

All the best,

The original files I converted from H.264 to Apple ProRes 422.

Essentially when I went to export > QT conversion, I selected Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) and made sure the size was the same as the original file and sequence (1920 x 1080)...

Cheers

Output your HD timeline "current settings"

Drop that file into compressor.

Create an HD version for delivery.
Create an SD version for delivery.

This assumes you do not have an I/O card.
