Final Cut Pro to Sony Vegas

Hello
I need to create a quicktime file in FCP and have it moved to Sony Vegas.

Does anyone know if I will run into any compatibility issues moving from FCP into Sony Vegas?

FCP project is

Vid Rate 29.97 fps
Frame Size 1440*1080
Compressor HDV 1080 p30
Data Rate 3.2

I'd make an intermediate (aka lossless) file, make sure this Vegas guy has Quicktime on his machine, and let him convert it to what he needs.

Since only machines with FCP 6 or 7 installed can even read ProRes 422, that's out.
QT 7.x can read but it can't write ProRes LT and HQ, so that's a crap shoot.
To preserve image quality, I'd go with QT's PNG codec, which is lossless and fine for video that originated as HDV.

Deal with the astounding file size.

Hi. Actually I do this pretty often. I render my project to ProRes422 in Compressor and save the file to a Mac compatible HD.

Connect the HD to a PC running Mac Drive and import the files into Vegas 10. No problems, no ridiculous file sizes. Render to the format of choice from there.
