Export via QT Conversion to WMV exports only first 29 seconds(?)

Hello--

I made the mistake of telling a client it would not be a problem converting his material to WMV.

I captured his tapes using DV; and figured it would be no problem to export them using the Quicktime Conversion export dialog.

I exported a short test file (8 seconds) and emailed it to a friend with a windows computer to test quality and compatibility.

The test went fine, but now I am trying to export the full files and it is only exporting the first 29 seconds. Plus the quality appears to have taken a hit. I'm gonna keep trying to adjust these settings and maybe will see if MP4 files would be ok (?)

Your advice is appreciated; thanks for reading this!

Got the freebie version of Flip4Mac, which only lets you convert a limited duration of footage?

Open your wallet and pay for the full version, and that problem goes away.

If your client has QuickTime or can install it, do h264. Free and better :)
