I have a big question concerning the sync in Final Cut Pro.
Let's say I like to use my clapper so we've created merged clips at a subframelevel. Every once in a while I like to see the timecode sync as a reference.
What will the move into sync option do for me?
- It will restore the merged media sync. and does not use timecode as a reference.
How can I put the merged media clip in a timecode sync?
- This seems to be the most easy way to do it:
I press ctrl-l to delink and drag two clips into a newbie timecode bin. There I select the separate items to put then in TC sync.
Here is my Final Cut Pro Question:
Can I move merged clips into timecode sync?
Can I slip into timecode sync?
Can I choose one of the other options like out-points?
It's obvious to ask as this option only exist in the
merge clips menu.
The Video Assist gear often includes a portable editing system (usually a laptop with a digitizing box and an editing software), so rough cuts can be made by the VA operator right on set.
