error in timeline - infinite scrolling layers

I'm sure this has been posted before - why does this happen? Only with vertical scrolling, never with horizontal scrubbing. I've had this occur on numerous machines.

I've never seen this behavior... but guess it has something to do with your graphics system. probably the card or it's drivers.

I get this sometimes. I just hide FCP by pressing Command + H and then bring it back by hitting Command + Tab.

I guess it's sort of annoying, but nothing's perfect
