plugin that detects powerpoint slide change?
on Oct 14, 2010 at 11:14:19 pm

Hello,

I work on a lot of projects with two sources, one being video of the presenter and the other being the presenter's powerpoint presentation, which is captured straight to HD as a video.

Does a plugin exist that can detect slide changes? From a programming standpoint, this wouldn't seem too hard to create because most slides look considerably different from one to the next. It would be incredibly helpful to drop a plugin on a video, and have it automatically sliced into pieces, where each piece is one slide, without having to go through manually and cut it up myself.

Thanks,
Michael

Perhaps scene detection software might work? I have no idea.

See here:

Hope it helps.
