Looking for a GREAT backup program for FCP.

I'm looking for a good piece of software that will backup selected media files and folders from my FCP Mac Pro to a backup RAID. The Time Machine is not what I'm looking for as I only want to back media files and project files from the media raid, not the whole computer.

It also has to do it automatically, either in the background or scheduled at the end of the day. I'm still pretty new to mac so if anyone could recommend a great software program to do this I'd really appreciate it.

This one looks promising. Anyone tried it out?

I like Carbon Copy Cloner. It's free (i.e. voluntary donations), user-friendly and can easily be customised to incrementally backup/clone specific folders/drives or whatever.

We use Chronosync to do just that. We regularly back up our projects folders and some of our media folders on external drives other than raid array. It works.

When I first heard about ChronoSync last year, I downloaded the free trial and found it to be one of the buggiest pieces of software I've seen in a long time. At least it Force Quitted by itself each time it died.

I then tried GoodSync, and haven't looked back since.

Works perfectly always, and it's well thought out in that it can also save you from understandable but unacceptable mistakes.
