It seems like upgrading our Macs to 10.6.4 and FC 7.0.2 broke our editing in place capabilities
Exported file from Editing in place on the Omneon have audio dropping (in places where there were no edit performed)
The problem is that even though all of our files (pointer and essence files) are saved on the Omneon, FC always renders audio and store it in the reference file. In that process audio gets corrupted with audio dropouts. Exported file is played with audio stored in the reference file not essence .aiff file (even though edits are clean cuts from one clip to another)
Is there any way so tell (force) FC not to re-render audio and just create sort of EDL stored in the reference QT file (as the Omneon advertise it will do when editing in place)?
Is there any other workaround that you guys may think to avoid those audio dropouts?
