P2 error - red exclamation - "no data"
on Aug 15, 2010 at 5:12:49 am

There's lots out there on this topic - but I have not been able to find a solution.

I'm running Final Cut Pro 6.0.1 I have successfully ingested 6 cards. I have another 7 that will not work. I get the dreaded red exclamation mark error - "no data" ... I am however able to preview all of the clips in Log + Transfer. So I know they exist.

I shot this footage over a year ago and for one reason or another just haven't gotten around to doing anything it. I deleted the LastText files - but have repaired them and everything seems to be in working order. I've tried shortening the file names - nothing. I have the pulldown button unchecked. Still nothing.

I'm thinking that maybe I shot the error cards at 1080i or 480i or something instead of 720p24 Would that affect my ability to import the footage into FCP? Sorry I'm a bit of a noob.

Any info / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

I'd suspect that the LastText file's is where the problem lies. How did you "repair" them? You might need something like this:
