Batch Assigning Audio Outputs

Hi All,

This happens every time I have to layoff a programme with 4 channels of audio - CH1 & 2 contain the full mix, CH3 & 4 is International (Music & Effects)

Is there a way to assign where tracks in the timeline are routed without having to laboriously right click the panel on each track and check/re-assign where they're being routed to? At the moment the only 'solution' I can think of is to have a pre-made empty timeline which I then copy/paste everything into. Just seems a bit of a long way round...

I think the answer is probably no, but I'm an optimist so thought I'd ask...

Thanks,
Alex

[Shane Ross] "that's the only way I know of."

I thought so. I'm amazed Apple haven't thought of changing this yet.

Thanks for responding, Shane.

Why change something that works? I don't get it.

Oh, no it works fine. It's just a little cumbersome when you have 17 audio tracks and you have to slowly check where each one is being routed to - I wouldn't want the function gone but it would be nice maybe in the Audio Mixer tool to have a button to quickly select the output of tracks and to be able to change more than one at a time.

I just wondered if this was already a feature I'd been unaware of all this time and am quite surprised that it indeed doesn't exist.
