compressing HDV so client can use audio
on Jul 26, 2010 at 2:45:42 pm

I shot 3 hours of HDV 1080i footage for a client. Eventually I'll edit a short piece for their fundraiser, but in the meantime they want the files so they can pull audio sound bites for a marketing project Im not involved with. I believe they work with imovie. The video does not need to be high quality, as they just want the audio, but they do want both. Do you have any advice as to what settings I should use to compress the footage to accommodate their request? And how best to "get" it to them? Ideally I transfer it online via third party large file senders, or post to hosting site so they can download and go from there. Thanks!
