Glitch/hit in beta tape

I have an archival clip captured from Beta SP. There is a 2-3 frame glitch in it. I remember somewhere there was a plug in to repair or at least lessen the glitch but for the life of me I can't find it. Anyone know what I'm talking about.

Analog glitches (dropouts) are different than digital glitches. Digital Heaven has a plug-in for digital glitches.

Scott- Start with the first clean frame and go. If you need a soft transition go ahead and build it.

Not sure what machine you used to capture from, but the BVW series had much better dropout compensation than the PVW and UVW series and way, way better than the J-3 or other digital decks.

If you can't fix it to your satisfaction, you might try getting it dubbed from a BVW-75 at a dub house.

You can correct a variety of glitches with Rainer Standke's free Too Much Too Soon plug-ins. There's a hair and scratch removal plug-in there which can take out small glitches easily and quickly.
If it works for you, don't forget to donate.

Neil, I think you'll find that Mattias Sandström is the talented author of the impressive Too Much Too Soon plugin collection.

Take the last good frame b/4 the glitch and duplicate it. OR just cut out the glitch frames. Or dissolve around them.
